I came back and did a few sets of max reps GHD sit ups and stretched. Got up to walk the dogs today and I am a little sore. I think I am going to continue my strength training and conditioning, but I also want to add one body building exercise a day? 3x10 to get a little more size, women like size! What do you think?
Scott and Todd miss training together. Scott lives in Las Vegas and Todd lives in BFE. We have been sending workouts back forth to each other for a few months now and have decided to post our creations and advice here. I have asked Todd to write out some programming for me and I will be posting all of my workouts and meals here. I hope we can help everyone learn a few things here.

Still got a motor
I took a few days off, kinda. I had to help everyone I know in Las Vegas move the last few weeks, or at least it seems that way. Minimum alcohol intake this weekend was a good idea. Last night I felt like running just to see if I could still put some miles on without dying. I am not sure what distance I ran, but I ran for 45 minutes. My goal was to run to my brothers and back, but I made it to his house in 15 minutes so I kept on moving. I still feel pretty fast on distance runs.

ReplyDeleteI think hypertrophy is good. For all of the guys I train that want to be stronger and bigger I always recommend 5/3/1 with his boring but big protocol. Basically do whatever work sets you got and then drop the load to about 50-60% of your max load and do 5 sets of 10. The vloume will add some size. Do that! come to the 5/3/1 side again :)
